Keep
Showing Up.

Good morning, Sumner Hill!

As we settle into second term, remember that progress grows from what we do each day. Being present, arriving prepared, and giving your best effort in class are small choices that make a lasting difference.

“Show up with purpose. Follow through with effort.”

This week, take ownership of your learning. Ask questions, complete your work, and encourage a classmate. To our students taking the PSAT 8/9 on Tuesday, prepare well and approach the test with confidence. We are cheering for everyone representing The Hill on the court and for the Arrows on Friday night. Let’s keep building a strong second term together.

Class of 1976

Celebrating 50 Years

On Sunday, September 13th, Sumner Hill was host to the Sumner Hill Class of 1976 as they celebrated their 50 year anniversary. Mrs. Kattie Mae Thomas Lewis told the gathering that today is a testament to “the resilience and growth” of the Class of ‘76 over the last half century. The gathering was a great example of the continued partnership between Sumner Hill and the community, a relationship that has a rich history and continues to exemplify the importance of education in the Clinton community at large. Congratulations to the Class of 1976 on this milestone!
